Speaker 1:

Hell yeah, hey. Hey, man, we're back With another one beach, and beach it's your boy, b scar aka beach. Come until you live, and, in effect, with my dog D.

Speaker 2:

D the pig.

Speaker 1:

Oh, hey man tell them to quiet down there in the back crazy man.

Speaker 2:

People got, don't got hands around here, man.

Speaker 1:

Unlike our, here we go, we're starting, we're starting. It sounds like, uh, some folks are back there Rummaging around the kitchen. You just, you just uh, cooked the big bowl.

Speaker 2:

Hey man, you're just bust out some soup early. You know, I'm saying I made some soup for the game, got the the guys back there trying to give me a review in a little bit Let me know how it was. Hey, they said it's fine, they did the reviews so far Outstanding. So if you need some soup, it's cold around here. You know I'm saying the midwest and midwest great. So we got soup going today.

Speaker 1:

Can we get a little content of that soup at some point in time?

Speaker 2:

Oh my god, I got a picture for y'all. I got a video for y'all. Um, I got a video. Awesome, I didn't care why, so I would love to get.

Speaker 1:

I would love to get some reviews from from uh, chris hawk, any other uh housemates that might be hey man they tested this they all saying it's fire. Okay, I wouldn't lie to you. Have you been? Uh, I've been cooking a lot as you were in your recovery process. Is that something you enjoyed to do in your doubt?

Speaker 2:

Indeed, you know I take some. Some time is good. You know what I got to work on growing to the grocery store, Mmm.

Speaker 1:

No, I got my insta cart guy.

Speaker 2:

I got to work on going to the grocery store. Ah, it's not the same, none of them actually cooking. They don't pick out yourself the same as as as you would.

Speaker 1:

They don't care as much, they don't take as much care as you would.

Speaker 2:

You know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I gotta do better with that. But you know, I just like the pastes it takes and you can't rush through meals if you want them done right. So it's been. It's been kind of cool just to do that last Last couple weeks or so. Man, I ain't saying I'm no chef or anything, but you know I'm trying to get it done.

Speaker 1:

And just for the people one more time what is the soup that you chefed up today?

Speaker 2:

Uh, it's a Italian Sausage, torolini Soup, and it's, uh, it's pretty good, pretty good over there.

Speaker 1:

What kind of sausage.

Speaker 2:

Italian sausage man. Oh, oh, I don't use turkey sausage.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so it's Italian sausage. Yes, it's Italian pork. This pork, gotcha. Okay, I want to use okay.

Speaker 2:

I don't know people you people use turkey sausage like I can't really get down with the sausage concept and turkey pause.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, see, I didn't connect the Italian and the sausage words together. I thought it was like Italian cuisine, but then it was sausage Torolini. Anyways, we'll, uh, we'll, love to see that content on the back end man, we're coming out of a big weekend with some competitive NFL games. We had the a fc and nfc championship and there's been a little drama specifically in the, the nfc championship game, the lions who is, you know, as we learned on the last episode, your favorite team. That's located in your favorite city of all time, detroit. They had a few calls not go their way. Uh, dan Campbell went for it on fourth down when he should have some people say he should have Kicked some field goals and ultimately that led to the lions demise in the, the 49ers victory. What is, uh, what are your thoughts on the dan Campbell's situation?

Speaker 2:

first of all, I just enjoyed the underdog story. The city's gonna come up. It's the first couple years ago Nobody liked Detroit. Nobody, I'm not just the city or team. Nobody liked going there. It's a dark place. Now it's like the places were stupid. Like the places were stupid. The city is starting to be able to come up and teach you better. It's easy to cheer for, um, but I mean, you know, I, I would say I was talking to my god, mad today, mad, shout out to mad. I'll train her down at the facility.

Speaker 2:

Shout out mad and he was saying we were talking about, like, why don't you take the points? And the dan Campbell way all year has been not to take the points. But my only rebuttal that is, it's like hitting on 16 If you're gonna do it, you gotta always do it, and earlier in that game he took three. So therefore, is you? Therefore, that tells me you realize how important that was. I don't know why he didn't take it then. Man, he's the head coach. He made that decision shoot out. I don't know how much it plays into a winner or loss or whatever, but I feel like it was one of those things like if you're gonna do it, you gotta always do it, and if you play, in that game.

Speaker 2:

Once you realize like you play in that game of points are important, I feel like you got to take the points but shoot, not my decision. I don't coach nobody.

Speaker 1:

Right. So you think that the biggest, the biggest piece is that Once you choose a strategy, whether you're gonna be aggressive and go for it on fourth down or you're gonna take points, you got a stick to that strategy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think, bouncing back and forth, they saw a flight, especially, I would say, the way they go for it on fourth down, like they go on four, don't four down on. Sometimes the analytics probably say gay man, just kick the ball. Like you know, I'm saying I don't, I don't see myself understanding 14 up 14 and not going up 17 to make it a three-consistent game right, right, yeah, I like that.

Speaker 1:

I like the metaphor of Uh, the blackjack metaphor, on on if you're hitting on 16 or not. But I'm not gonna lie, man, I'm a wishy-washy hit on the 16 type of guy. You know, I listen to my intuition, my gut. So you know, sometimes I might, I might hit that 16, but then sometimes, you know, I just feel like there's a face card coming up. So, yeah, I'm good, I'm gonna stay.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, I'm like, uh, I feel like you can change it up on the suit, I mean on the shoot, like game wise, like I would say by game you can change it up, but like I don't feel like that's something that you, if you're in mid-shoot you should be dice them in like yeah, 16, this time, my 16. That like, if you, if you hit it already that shoot, if you didn't hit it, that shoot, don't hit it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. Now I feel that that was uh, it's a tough one man and it and it. You know it's such a great season, um, and a great showing of leadership from dan camble.

Speaker 1:

It's, it's unfortunate that the narrative is now that he lost them the game and and potentially cost the city a super bowl, like that's a tough, that's a tough pill. All I was, as dan camble, but I think that really points out to like you know, leadership isn't all, uh, all sunshine and rainbows. You know you make tough calls and you have to be the one to answer those tough calls and you know if you're, if, if you end up winning the game and you end up getting those fourth down conversions and you win, now you're a hero.

Speaker 1:

You know the same decision to make you, make you a villain, and I think that is uh, that's one of the pieces of leadership that don't often get discussed, but, um, hell of a performance all year by dan.

Speaker 2:

Oh man, hell of a run. What he did for the city, for the team. Like, I mean, dude, like he's got to be coaching a year, right, you think so. You think so, I mean, I think so. I don't understand how he done when it, you know, I just it doesn't make sense, but whatever, I mean they, they did the thing and I'm glad that those guys are not there and really killed you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, shout out in Detroit Lions, shout out to them, man, uh, it was also some, uh, some drama on the afc side of things. Unfortunately, the the Baltimore Ravens couldn't, uh, ravens couldn't, uh, couldn't make it happen On sunday, and I was, I was just distraught because I really I'm been a Lamar Jackson fan all season. That, you know, for me was almost an underdog story in itself Because, you know, folks didn't believe in them. There was front offices and general managers who weren't trying to pay him around the league and so he goes out and he proves himself and he's, you know, likely wins the MVP this season.

Speaker 1:

I would, I would have just loved to have the Ravens end up with a Super Bowl and and uh, and Lamar ended up with a Super Bowl MVP, but it didn't happen that way. It did not happen that way and uh, largely Arguably because of some of the calls um that were made on ze flowers and obviously, hey, he had the fumble, uh, there, you know they're on the goal line. Really, that and uh cost him the game, but it was the taunting penalty that uh, that definitely it set him back. What is your, what are your thoughts on? On that, that call by the refs? It's a dumb rule.

Speaker 2:

As long as like taun doesn't play, it's great. A delay game, like I don't, yeah, but I, I mean I get why it gets called it's an emotional play on all parties. Like think about it, the guy who's in the play, the guys who are in the place, emotional them because one guy knows they made a big play.

Speaker 2:

One guy knows a drop. The referee who saw the play is still emotional. It's a big moment in the game. So now you're asking that part, you make a judgment call on what he sees or Whatever, but it's just like what happened.

Speaker 2:

He spun the ball, he stood up on somebody who was grabbing his leg, he spun the ball, he stood up and he flexed. He didn't say word, didn't do anything. That happens all the time, literally all the time. It happened on the first touchdown of the game. 87 gets up and does the same thing, and it's not like I don't care, it's just like it's dumb, just like that dude, like it just wasn't a heightened moment of the game, was the first catch. He gets a, pushes the cow to cow off of him, gets a, looks down on him the whole time, then starts celebrating. He doesn't. But what? He's grabbing the back of his leg and gets up. What about? That is malicious. Like that's what I'm saying. It's like whatever, bro, but it's a dumb place, an emotional game, and he throws his hands up. He don't even give them the full arm up. He's like you know what I'm saying, like, ah, like you know what I'm saying. And he don't say nothing. You can read his lips. Don't say words, he's just smiling.

Speaker 1:

Go back and look up at this. He has stepped it.

Speaker 2:

You get up and it's a flag Like that's the thing. It ain't. Come on, bro Come on man.

Speaker 1:

Why do you think that the NFL has this rule? No taunting. I don't know the genocide of the rule for to show good sportsmanship and to penalize showing bad sportsmanship.

Speaker 2:

It don't change sportsmanship at any other level though. Like, if you're thinking about it like bro, I just told you the other day I watched every kid in every college ball game, shooting club or do whatever. That little dance is airing things out the whole time, every play made. They don't care what they're doing college, they don't care what they're doing high school, they don't care what they do anywhere else. It is the only time you watch those seven on seven highlights. Anybody out there, police in these keys, they gonna do what they want. So I don't understand why you holding the guy who working his ass off on Sundays is a difference thing.

Speaker 1:

Well, I mean, I think you have to factor in that the NFL has a brand to uphold and that the shield means something right as ownership, as management whatever of the league, the way that they put their brand forth. I imagine that is what factors into their decision to penalize bad sportsmanship. At the end of the day, I go back and forth because I'm like, ah well, bad sportsmanship and this taunting and kind of talking shit, this makes it more engaging for the fans potentially. But on the other hand, maybe some fans and kids and parents look at the sport as, oh, this is a brutal sport. They're out there just showing no sportsmanship whatever. I think that's probably where the NFL airs. Is this kind of classic want to try to present as a gentleman sport as much as they possibly can. I understand.

Speaker 2:

I guess I get what they're doing, but where's the sportsmanship when you in another team and fans flicking you off, talking crazy and doing all types of other stuff? There is no sportsmanship in that. There was just some buffalo last week. They just wanted touchdowns, people throwing snowballs at them, ain't? Nobody said nothing. You know what I'm saying? It's not what this is.

Speaker 2:

You can try to dress it up, you can put lipstick on a pig as much as you want, it's still a fucking pig. You can't. That's not what this is. This is a barbaric sport. And stop trying to dress it up and make it pretty for somebody like they don't want to see it pretty, they don't. Like nobody cares to see it except those soft fans like, oh, that's sportsmanship.

Speaker 2:

Like you ain't never played before and you never really been in that ground and understand the emotions of what goes on. And if you were to handle it different, that's you. You can't control how everybody handles it. Like, as long as it don't create again, as long as it don't create a delay game, I don't give a fuck what happens. Like because they only police it on certain, they don't police it on certain people. And I would go into this, bro, but like you watch what happened that whole game with bro, you watch what bro did the whole game. You watch where I wrote Juan Smith, try to walk away and break that fight up and walk away, what bro did to his arm. So you see, like you only call it certain times, so like, don't act, like it's that big of a thing Like it is.

Speaker 1:

so don't you pick and choose what you're gonna call it, so it can't be that big of a thing, unless it's causing delay game, if that call dude so you don't think there's any time where you should ever put a lipstick some lipstick on a pig Fuck no. Nobody wanna see a pretty pig. Sometimes.

Speaker 2:

Nah, bro, nobody gonna see that pretty pig. He's gonna roll around in mud anyway.

Speaker 1:

All right, yeah, I feel you. I think what the button I'll put on it is that, regardless of what the rule should be or shouldn't be, it is a rule nonetheless. And, zay Flowers, the way that you know, all eyes are on you you just made a huge play. Okay, you pushed the guy off, you? All right, cool, he's from the ball, he's gonna go to the ball.

Speaker 1:

There's enough time there for you to make the decision. All right, I'm about to just go back to this hurdle because I want my team to win. I mean, I felt like that's what he did, though B he could have hit the flex.

Speaker 2:

He goes up and puts his hands up and turns around and sees a flag.

Speaker 1:

He caught himself, for sure. He caught himself and sees a flag, and then it's like yeah, yeah, yeah. No, he clearly went the halfway flex and he could have finished it.

Speaker 2:

He was gonna do it and he was like, ah, he didn't follow through it. He sees like, ah man, what a man Turns around and still a flag.

Speaker 1:

It's like the shove and then the initial flex. That can all be wrapped up in some emotion.

Speaker 2:

So he made the decision. He seemed like he was like all right, I might do too much. And then it was like dad, you just go like no, it's like you gotta get ready to do it off him.

Speaker 1:

The shove to get dude off him was like really, really enough, Like I don't know, Because the guy was still on the ground.

Speaker 2:

Do you know what be happening, though. You know how people are. Like you play defense, like I do, i'ma do it. I'ma grab on your leg to make you push me off him, but like I ain't tripping when you do it, I ain't tripping when you push off me, whatever, like, and see what I mean. What's the name? Yeah, sneed wasn't tripping. He wasn't mad about it, he's just like whatever. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

Ain't that the?

Speaker 2:

plate to play. He got up. It wasn't even one of those things, but yeah.

Speaker 1:

He could have got away you know what Zay flowers? If he wouldn't have fumbled on that goal line. We would have given him a pass for that one. Yeah, people would be giving him a pass.

Speaker 2:

He'll learn from that, bro. Just kidding. You know you can't die by this. It's crazy to say because it's right there, it's all right there. But every coach they teach you like hey, bro, don't die by the goal line.

Speaker 1:

That was Sneed, that made that play too.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Sneed wasn't tripping, he just got back to the level, got back to the plays, and you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's just, you can't die by the goal you know it, it sucks because of that touchback rule, man, or that, don't die by it, bro.

Speaker 1:

Sneed's a ball hog man. That dude, he makes an effort, he can play it.

Speaker 2:

Sneed's really good. Sneed's really good. He's a good player. He got a really good secondary like sticky guys.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, it's interesting to see the Chief's defense play. You know, play well, because I feel like in the past years they haven't had a great defense.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, bro, they always play good on defense to me. You know, I've played them in the playoffs the last couple of years and we don't give up more than 20 points against them. Yeah, 23, and they always.

Speaker 1:

They've historically had issues stopping them run.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that ain't changed though. Right, the Rape was on the run of the ball six times when they were running backs. Crazy, crazy work, nasty work by the OCA. That was a nasty job. It was like Best running team in the league. We ran the ball six times with our backs. It's very easy.

Speaker 1:

It's tough. It's a tough pill to swallow, man, tough pill to swallow.

Speaker 2:

That's why I'm interested to see this Super Bowl. It'll be interesting. There are two teams that match up with each other well. Players that you know pound for pound on the field, match up really, really well. Who you got San Fran? Not just because I don't really rock with the Chiefs like that. I'm not.

Speaker 1:

I don't fool with them.

Speaker 2:

You know what I'm saying Really like that, whatever, but I don't got as much hate for them as everybody else. But I just think, san Fran bro think they run the ball really well. They got a bunch of tough guys and you got to tackle in space against them, which I think the teams do a good job with tackling in space. But with Reds McCaffrey healthy all their guys are healthy Everybody's back man, they going, they going.

Speaker 2:

Hey, you know boy's better be ready to play like Niners too, and you know, unfortunately my our boy, chuck, got hurt. You know, unfortunately he got hurt and that's a big part of it. As far as ACL, we got this back I mean shoot, I think the next play and Lamar rolled out and then juked him and he ended up tearing his ACL. Damn, it's tough.

Speaker 1:

I saw the sack fumble early. That was a big play, yeah. So that's a big, that'll be a big piece missing for him.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, We'll see, I think. I think they got a good squad and they can't win it. Obviously we're 15 on their side always, but hey, for managers, they got some dudes on that squad man on defense, like some dudes all the way, at every level.

Speaker 1:

I'm pretty impressed with is the performance of Travis Kelsey throughout the year, with all the attention on him, the whole Taylor Swift and I know you know we weren't supposed to talk about Taylor Swift on this, this episode, but with all the attention off the field on Travis, and then the spotlight. He's done nothing but meet the bill and perform the way that we've expected him and seen him perform, and I mean he's, he's balling, you know. It's just. It's one of those things where, like, I love to see a guy live up to the hype.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know how I feel about tight ends, but I'm glad he's doing well, he's doing his thing, though he's the best of them, and he's doing his thing again this year.

Speaker 1:

And.

Speaker 2:

I think it also helps, like hitting this quarterback, have such good communication, like sometimes it's just like hey, it's trash can routes, like hey, bro, just I'm going to stop here and I'm going to get to do it. Hey, find me, you know what's going on. It's cool to see. It's kind of cool to see when you watch it, especially when you watch it on TV A lot of times, like things break down is just them two. On communication yeah facts.

Speaker 1:

He does a good job finding the open spot. If, if we were in DJ Reader's offense and and D, you're at the offensive coordinator position and the general manager says, hey D, we got to take a tight end in the first round. We got these two guys, we got. We got George Kittle and Travis Kelsey. Who you taking, george Kittle, taking Kittle for your?

Speaker 3:

offense.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, for my offense.

Speaker 1:

Okay, are you? A robot first Are you a run, first offense.

Speaker 2:

I'm just a very balanced guy. Yeah, like that's how I like my tight ends. I know I'm not going to he not going to be the one on my team, so there's no need me. He don't got to be Travis Cussing for me, travis Cussing like the one receiver. I don't need him to be that. I like what George Kittle does a lot, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Like I like his, his grittiness, yeah, I like his grittiness, I probably take him too. I don't like when I mean, didn't certain offenses you tighten doesn't really need to block? But yeah, just, I spent my whole career going against tight ends and always respect the ones, so a little bit more is willing to stick their nose in and get dirty.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and Travis like crafty. He does a lot of like super vets happy stuff. He'll get in there randomly but like he's very crafty, like he does a good job of taking up space, but like I also don't need him to be the one, I don't need him moving that much. I just need a guy like Kittle, who he's a threat to go out for a pass every time but he will block every single time. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Thanks, um well, uh, I think that I think there may be some some room to circle back on, uh, on some of this super bold talk, but before we uh, we get too deep into that, we got some beef going on. You know, uh, on the Degen Degen beach, we like to dig into a little little beef.

Speaker 2:

Love the beef A little beef we love the Degen beef.

Speaker 3:

We're being.

Speaker 1:

So Meg the stallion Drops a dish track called his. So she dropped a his track. Nicki Minaj wasn't. She wasn't feeling it. She felt like there were a couple of lines that were targeted at her, and so she drops a diss track right back. She comes right back 24 hours later and she drops big foot Love. A little hip hop beat. Hip hop beef. I love beef man. This is great. This is good.

Speaker 2:

It's good for a. It's good for everybody. Everybody loves a little beef in there. Megan's track was fire, I thought it was good. I mean, I know I was a big fan. You weren't as big of a fan of it. I thought she had some bars. I thought she had some bars and you know, she spoke the truth. She got her truth off her chest dog. She went hard.

Speaker 1:

But on the pre show to the audience we took a gander through both. Yeah, we listened a little bit.

Speaker 2:

We had to see what was going on. But what I will say is you talk about punch lines and funny stuff. Not all of it was funny. Some of it was a little too personal and Nicky stuff, but there was a whole bunch of funny shit as well. Well, let me tell you, starting off with the big foot and the art, the cover art, that shit was fucking hilarious, especially when I seen where she was going at, the direction she was going at, and when the show started, I mean when the song started, ah, great.

Speaker 2:

Yeah that mom stuff she could have left out of there. That was crazy to do. I don't think you should ever bring up anybody's dead family members or anybodies that they know. It's no need to speak on the dead, but I feel like a lot of the bars. It's pretty funny. Not as good of a song, but funny.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we are. We actually got Somebody in our in the waiting room here that may be able to to add some a little bit of color. You know, he was all. He was our locker room.

Speaker 3:

This. You know, my job title is nutrition. To Okay, they don't eat. That was one of my is one of my running backs back here. He don't eat, he won't fit me. We gotta get his weight up, though. We gotta get his way though.

Speaker 1:

Don't even worry about it.

Speaker 3:

Okay, let's just keep eating. I can't put a number on you right now, but he will make you miss. Though that's a as a start, right as a start.

Speaker 1:

We like, we like, we like the shifty running back man.

Speaker 3:

Hey, they're getting the old school McDonald's right now. Okay. I believe in, I'm believing in them. The skill guy goes a long way for the audience.

Speaker 1:

We have Brandon Dunn Joining us. Dj and I's former Houston Texans teammate. We're in the league and now, dunny, are you back in? Are you back in Louisville when you?

Speaker 3:

at. Yeah, I am back in Louisville, kentucky, back at the high school I graduated from. We took the head job over man. Let's see what we can get done.

Speaker 1:

There we go. Oh, you took the head job.

Speaker 3:

Yes, she hey, listen, you can listen. Events, event, events. What you correlate into, I'm not mad about that. You got to put oh, we can put that on a shirt. Hey, we can break his money off it. Man, you know, brandon, okay, not my name branding Okay, you got to have it. I love it. Getting paid to wear the hat. I'm telling you, hey, you gotta get, you gotta put the hat on to get paid. Man, there's no, there's no way around.

Speaker 1:

Donnie, donnie, we were. We were just discussing the the Nicki Minaj make the stallion beef. Have you been able to dig into that a little bit?

Speaker 3:

Man. You know I have man and you know it's. You know it's it's refreshing. You know it's giving back. You know 90s beef a little bit. You know I'm saying you know it's when beef was real. The last beef you had was Drake. You know I'm saying a meat meal. You know it's been. What was that? What was that? You know I don't know what that was, but that was too long ago. Okay, I feel like we need to have a beef every six months. You feel me?

Speaker 1:

Yes, who do you think? Who you think's on top right now we were just, we're just going back and forth About whose this track was better.

Speaker 3:

I have. Listen to both. You know, if you listen, I'm a grown man. I listen to both of those. Okay, we both. So I might have to go with Megan this because of Megan's law, which is crazy. When she said, because if you don't know what Megan's law you looking up boy, the first thing I did was say oh, wow. I Said, oh, guess this. Then let's me know what I feel. 90s a little bit, you know. I feel like, yeah, we can do this. I'm here, I'm tuned in, I got my eyes and ears. Let's see what happens next.

Speaker 2:

I Do respect that. Nikki had a media reaction, though. Now ain't no way we waiting there for the production team. We wait on none of that, she. I'm putting this on my page at my house right now. Yeah, you got to see about me, I don't care.

Speaker 1:

It was an impressive turnaround.

Speaker 2:

Right now.

Speaker 3:

You this? You probably test. You woke up feeling dangerous that day.

Speaker 2:

She ain't wait for the master's. None of that. She was like effort I'm putting it out.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, she came in here. She ain't even so, dunny.

Speaker 1:

I was, uh, I was actually I was. I was feeling, I was feeling Nikki Minaj how she came on the track and she you know it was kind of classic Minaj and she says I'm like hop on your good foot. But then towards the end she starts going into this like whisper and it's like she's half talking, half whispering. I don't know, I don't know what's going on with with that. I haven't heard that out of Nikki before.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I haven't heard that out of Nikki either. I don't you know, and you know the thing is she didn't. I'll respond. Well, you know what bad you know all of it went bad. I just felt like you know, I'm saying I feel like she Got an extra hit in, you know, I feel like.

Speaker 3:

Can you hear me? Can you hear me now? Are we back here now? Yeah, my bad, my bad, I feel like. I feel like it was a heavyweight battle and Megan got a couple, a couple hits here. You know, a couple legal hits here. You know, I don't know, I don't know if Nikki, can you know, it, can recover from that Megan's law. And it's just one line too. It wasn't a lot of bars in there. That Megan's law, okay, was crazy Okay.

Speaker 1:

Speaking of speaking of bars, we got 50% of the lunch. The lunch pail crew LPC. Is there a? Is there a point in time where you might be able to get the whole crew on here to do a little acapella freestyle or something?

Speaker 3:

I don't know. Listen if I, if I, you know, if I do that man, you really got to get us the you know, full staffed. Okay, and, as you know, we haven't seen anybody in a while. These words, where's low said is he's.

Speaker 2:

First of all, I saw everybody in the LPC this year. You did. I saw every member this year.

Speaker 1:

I got to talk to him.

Speaker 2:

List the members off. I can't list them off. I saw dunny beginning this year, saw Carlos beginning this year. I saw Angelo Monday night football. Me and everybody you know got talking out on the Angelo Blacks moment on the field for a little bit. But no, I get to see my brothers all the time. We always send a couple texts once, once every every few months and just, uh, remind ourselves in the LPC. Still alive man, we're still here.

Speaker 3:

Yeah and you know, you know, you know. The funny thing is is you know the lunch pail?

Speaker 1:

is going, it goes way. We're not going nowhere.

Speaker 3:

You know I'm saying you know. You know you look at me right now I got a car hurt on. If you wanted to know, oh, he reconnected, no time. Yeah, I got a car hard now. You know I got a rough face. It's LPC. You know I'm saying we don't look cute over here, okay.

Speaker 2:

I had a, I had a argument. Yo hey, we going through the struggle at the LPC right now.

Speaker 3:

Yeah most definitely going through the struggle.

Speaker 1:

It's not on the free, the chin way right now. Yeah, dany, uh, dany, we're losing you on on service, that's a hell of a shot right there D. We're losing you on service, Dany, Um, but man, it was good. It's good to see you. It's good to hear from you. Uh, keep feet, keep feeding those boys. Man, get those, get those. Uh, get that McDonald's in them and uh, we'll talk to DJ Dany when he uh reconnects at a later date. We're getting the McDonald's baby.

Speaker 2:

Hey he's, he ain't never lied. Uh good, McDonald's on a skill player goes a long way. Ask Chad Johnson. Hey damn, never came out all the fame off that shit.

Speaker 1:

That's a fact and that's uh. Oh Joe sink, oh he preaches it hey.

Speaker 2:

I mean of course I believe in him. I'm fat, though, so I don't believe me, don't you know?

Speaker 1:

I'm fat bro, you big bone. We thought we covered this.

Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, sure, I mean. Sure, my bones are bigger than per se, like Caroline's bones who like maybe even bigger than your, but I mean they're probably not much bigger than your bones, like you know. I'm saying they're just bones that need to be studied, no, scientifically.

Speaker 1:

Your bones are bigger because you're heavier than me, so your bones naturally evolve to be bigger. You have more bone density. Is that how that works? Yeah, because more pressure goes on the bones and they they callus that's okay, okay.

Speaker 2:

What about those people who go from like 400 pounds to like 190?

Speaker 1:

I would venture to say that your bones would readjust, they would adapt. Your bones shrink.

Speaker 2:

You both shrink.

Speaker 1:

It's possible. It's absolutely possible. If you get bigger, your bones will get me somebody on here.

Speaker 2:

We need scientists out here. We got a next BGDs. We gotta get somebody's science. I ain't trying to hear shit they say about dinosaurs, but I listen to this bone conversation.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, let's call in that guy from NASA who always cut.

Speaker 2:

Caroline no.

Speaker 1:

I don't guys name from NASA the astronaut guy, let's call Josh Dabs.

Speaker 2:

Bro. Black dude Josh Dabs, let's call Josh Dabs, Nah bro, that's not talking about. And that's crazy. I'm believing Josh Dabs. He worked for NASA. He's black.

Speaker 1:

Shit man, we're we, yeah, what's we out on a run a show here, dummy don't know place. We got Steph Curry and Sabrina Inescu facing off in the first ever MBA verse. W MBA three-point contest.

Speaker 3:

Who do you got?

Speaker 2:

Man, let's go.

Speaker 1:

Who you betting on.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go with Sabrina. Honestly, oh wow, I'm gonna. I guess hard man, steph's the Carolina guy too, man, and it's tough to go against him. But I'm just gonna Sabrina, cuz I like her shoe more. Be honest, you know other reason I like her shoe more. Think her shoes, though. Like her shoe more it's you shoot a men's ball, girls ball, I don't think it matters, girls Just make shots of a higher rating. A man, dude, I don't know, it's, it is Steph. I gotta see her get nervous. I guess, like when people, when people tee off for Tiger Woods and they sometimes just f they whole game up, but I don't she Shoot out the ball.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was. Uh, the nerve, the nervousness Cross my mind too as a potential factor that you know there's a lot of eyes. She's shooting against staff, one of the best shooters of all time. She's a little bit earlier in her career, but there's also the potential for nerves on the other side too. Yeah, you know, cuz staff is like alright, I'm, you know I'm going against Sabrina. You know not to say the whole you know girl boy thing, but you know I don't want to go beat me and yeah, and there's a lot of eyes and I might not hear the end of it if Sab shoots me out right now.

Speaker 1:

So like there could be those nerves too, especially if she goes first and drop buckets.

Speaker 2:

Yeah she got there. Go crazy. That's what I'm saying, like it's like I Mean. She says you shouldn't really be a ranch. I don't think it really matters like. I just think girls put the ball in the hoop at a fast clip. They got really they just do it consistently. I mean that's like their game, that's been their game for all of time. I just kind of adjusted to the putting the ball in the hoop.

Speaker 1:

Like that's the game of basketball.

Speaker 2:

No, no, no. I'm saying like shooting has been like their thing, like they're like, they make the shots at a high rate for forever. They shoot high percentages. I think like watching their games Is that a fact?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, are you just dropping, dropping random statistics?

Speaker 2:

right now. That's not random Game. I'm sure they should.

Speaker 1:

WMA players have a better shooting percentage than NBA players. Is that what you're saying? Do?

Speaker 2:

you? Have you ever watch one game again? They literally just make shots. I watched some of the championship, I guess. I have a pace game. It's a lot more sets and made shots, like is that's kind of how their game is like it's a lot more sets, working to get open and really making shots. Yeah, there's much more than one ball, you know, sam.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, I gotta be honest, deej I. I can't refute that point because I don't know enough about W the WNBA and more so, and most importantly, because the way that you evaluate talent and watch certain sports is just way more analytical than then my viewing experience will ever be. It's crazy.

Speaker 2:

Brothers watch out. They don't. They don't play as fast, they can't duck his stuff. Of course they got running up and down the court. Ha ha ha. They not doing that. So it's a lot more screens. You got a screen get open here here. Pop out, shoot the three, make it like you know, it's a lot more that ball going on. Then it is a me getting on the wing and breaking you down to pull up on the elbow. Shot, right, not the game.

Speaker 1:

I do respect Sab sneakers. That's one thing I can they fire. Oh, they're fine. Sabrina, I and S Goo got some fire kicks.

Speaker 2:

Think about getting a pair of training bro.

Speaker 3:

Shit.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, these are cold. They kind of remind me of like they're kind of Kevin Durant's, but also they got a little Mamba and them to. I like the vertical swoosh.

Speaker 2:

It's kind of cool to me.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, don't good for Sabrina man. I'm taking Steph Curry in the three-point contest, but I do like my skin brother.

Speaker 2:

Hey, I got a strong man. We gotta say strong.

Speaker 1:

You know we got haters out here. Gotta stick together.

Speaker 2:

The light scares got haters.

Speaker 1:

You know. You know, yeah, I try to make fun of us that we we look in light skin. We make him the light skin face. You know people don't want to see, people don't want to talk about it, but you know there's been times that we've been discriminated against for that light skin face. That's just how we make our faces, that's how we look cute. Beyond to make fun of it. It's really not that funny. It is pretty funny bro.

Speaker 2:

I just I don't think, you know, do you think that's? You think the ice where you gotta do that part?

Speaker 1:

Come on, man. Hey, never failed me. I hate all you wanted to never fail me.

Speaker 2:

Never fail today, bro. Don't, don't.

Speaker 1:

That's a fat To man. Last piece about the light skin thing back in the day. You want to know who made light skins hot back in our childhood. Oh, oh guess, I Don't know. See, it's coming from a dark-seeing brother. Any light skin brother can answer this.

Speaker 1:

Chris breezy, chris Brown Okay, chris he's like skin wave Was high when, when Chris breezy hit the scene. Now I remember I used to walk out in middle school. I used to walk around high school games. You know middle school we used to go to. They used to go to Jesuit games. These were central Catholic games and I you know Little white girls looking like oh my god, you look like Chris Brown.

Speaker 3:

Oh my god, you look like Chris Brown.

Speaker 1:

You know I got the little baggy sweatsuit.

Speaker 2:

You know walking my dog, you didn't know that was racist. That's the thing. You thought. That was them calling you cute. You just like skin bro. They told you you look like Chris Brown. Now you really think Brown is who. You look like Chris Brown.

Speaker 3:

Well, well, no.

Speaker 1:

Those girls probably thought that all light skin do look the same All lightskin guys like Chris Brown.

Speaker 2:

I get what you said he did put the light skin is on, but I will.

Speaker 1:

I will in in the white girls defense that a lot of light skin dudes in the younger age do look very similar because we all got the baby face.

Speaker 2:

And y'all got that fucking cut. I know you had a low boy, super low. Yeah, it's super low. Those got no texture at the moment. Skinny.

Speaker 1:

With the ice picks, with the ice picks. Y'all remember the ice picks. Come on now. I remember now when the ice came, I ended up connecting in the chin strap. Every light skin brother went crazy. You had to have the chin strap.

Speaker 2:

That's why I don't cut my son's hair that short. I refused to him. Like bro, you might think you might as well have a little curl.

Speaker 3:

Oh, you got a little light skin brother running around and Rocky man yeah.

Speaker 2:

He got super dark tendencies, bro, you see him.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he is. Yeah, he is darker skin than I was as a child. I was, I was very, I was very fair skin. That's child.

Speaker 3:

So he's got some.

Speaker 1:

He's got some color to him. All right, let's, let's hop about. It is light skin conversation, man, because I can go all day and See, see, telling you do.

Speaker 2:

How many braids is that? I never took forever to take out. That's like 40 braids. Is your hand dude? 40 straight backs oh.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, caroline, for dropping that. Oh, that photo that was actually. That was actually a college, that's, that's a college photo. I Did have braids as a as a fourth grader, nine years old, with braids College. Yeah, those were those. I can't wait, I couldn't wait. Those were those impatient braids like god damn. Yeah, that's funny. I used the weave back in the day. You should have died with that one brother. How about we end this DJ B with a riddle?

Speaker 2:

okay nine.

Speaker 1:

Well, I should probably read it.

Speaker 2:

I have nine eggs. I broke three. I fry three a three. I.

Speaker 1:

Got listeners.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I got you. I have nine eggs. I broke three, I fried three, I ate three. How many eggs are left?

Speaker 1:

Nine.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm assuming that there I'm, it's either nine or three for me. I'm saying nine Because I guess they all still there, you ain't throwing away or nothing, but I'm gonna say three cuz. Okay. So you broke three, you fried three and you ate three. You the problems they say you ate them, so three no that's my logic? I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, first I was thinking when I cuz I'm okay, I'll be transparent. I've seen this riddle and I've also read through the comments on the riddle. Give me the solution to the riddle. I have nine eggs. I broke three. I was thinking, okay, just cuz you broke your eggs, you still have the egg. Yeah, you fried three, so you have the egg and then you ate three so you think you'd be. You know you ingested that you don't have that egg anymore, so you'd have six. That was my thought process. But then, upon further research, and realized that I have nine eggs. Insinuates that you still have nine eggs because it's in the past is in the present tense. If it was in the past tense and said I had nine eggs, then you would Be getting to do the math. But it's in the present tense, so you just have nine eggs.

Speaker 2:

No, nice. So I mean I was right, just a different way of getting there. I was right with nine first guess. That's that felt I'm like yes, I'm free, just cuz I be thinking these things shot mom, fuck me anyway.

Speaker 1:

So you did you would be right, exactly right. Shit. Just, they try to do some sly shit, but I don't, I don't, personally, I think this riddle, I think it's, I think it's bullshit because you, just you can have nine eggs, doesn't tell you that, like, this could be a timeline of like, hey, I have nine eggs and then I broke three and then I fried three and then I ate three. So how many left? How many eggs are left? Now, like it's just, the language is fucked up, there's not enough like there's not enough context. Well, that was fun. I got a. My dad's birthday dinner is tonight, so I have to Get my ass going. I don't want to be late. Shout out, shout out. Paul Scarlett, my idol, my, my father, my friend, celebrating his birthday. Gosh, dang it, man. That was a great conversation that we just had, beach, and I Think we're we should go ahead and tell the people goodbye. I, I was the the bookend of the last Dijon Beach, so Let you be the bookend of this one All right, hey, man, appreciate y'all stopping in.

Speaker 2:

I Vibing with us man catching the beat, bees and deeds. We back here, we, we on the roll. Shout out the popper scar. You know I'm saying big birthday. Shout out, man, original done data, big roster. I'm at bull Rostify. Right, we'll see y'all next week. Man, peace All right, y'all peace.
